Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Development and Elementary Education
• 20+ Years of Professional Childcare Experience
• 7 Years Experience as a Teacher/Director of Childcare Programs
• 16 Years Professional Nanny/Guardianship Experience (6 years as a Short-Term Temporary Nanny and Travel Nanny and 10+ Years as a Full-Time, Live-In Guardian Nanny)
• Experience With Infants-Teens, Multiples, Caring for Families With 1 to 6 Children
• Experience Working With High-Profile Families / Fully-Staffed Homes / Multiple Nannies
• Experience Collaborating With Parents & Specialists in Caring For & Working With Children who have been Diagnosed With Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Aspergers Syndrome (AS), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Convergence Insufficiency, Speech Disorders, Eating Disorders, and Sleep Deprivation
• Experience Working With Education Specialists, Teachers, Tutors, Coaches, School Administrators, and the Medical Profession
• National and International Travel Experience; Valid Passport (Travel-Ready); Vaccinations up-to-date, Travel experience with families includes both national and international locations within the Continental United States, Hawaii, Europe, Caribbean, Asia, Middle East, Africa, South America, Australia, and New Zealand, and on private (Gulfstream 450 and 550) and commercial planes, sleeper trains, and private yachts
• First Aid and CPR Certified by Med-Aire
• Cabin Safety Flight Attendant Certified by Flight Safety International
• Member of the International Nanny Association and the National Association for the Education of Young Children
• 8+ Years Experience as an Elementary School Classroom Assistant (Volunteer Position)
• 10+ Years Experience Working With the Girl Scouts of America Organization in Multiple Leadership Roles (Volunteer Positions)
• 5 Years Experience Coordinating and Leading Eighth Grade Class Trips to Washington, D.C. (Volunteer Position)
• Parent of Four Adult Children – Two Daughters and Two Sons (Twins)
